>>>#17/5/20 Keep on rocking in the free world

I am free!  That's all that matters.  Now I am looking for ways to strengthen my reserve.  The best way is not to spend and save as much as possible.

It is different if money is unlimited.  In this case money is a diminishing resource.

Saving money is like religion.  You got to have faith in the future.

In the meantime I keep on shrinking to what is necessary.

------------------

As I said, my job is to get well again.

Take it as I am living on an island.  That is my 10 km radius.

Then I need to look at my ESSENTIALS.  I need to spend on my essentials only:
  • Occasionally on feel good food
  • Tennis
  • Car Wash
  • Hair Cut
  • Watch Batteries
  • Personal Care Stuff
  • Dental Care
  • Replacement running shoes
No spending on clothes and expensive perfumes.

I need to be mindful that I need to replace the PC and handphone 3 - 5 years from now.  This might pose a problem.

I still need RM2,000 a year from Munek.  If not I have to be very frugal.

I am short of RM3,000 on my savings target.  That is if I want to save RM40,000.

All in all I need RM6,000 to be comfortable.  Then the PC and handphone will be covered.

Actually I had exceeded the target with RM37,000 if I want to save up to RM70,000 by 10 years time.  All I need is to save additional RM3,000 for the PC and handphone.  I am in the green zone.  Munek's money will be a booster for me.

Of course ANY AMOUNT from Wan Mus and Glen will be a major boost.  Let's just look at RM30,000.

Based on the previous calculation,  I can have RM2,000 in EPF and RM5,000 in ASNB.  So I am still within my RM6,000 range.
