13/5/20 ***Enough ratting for one day

I don't think Wan Mus has what it takes.  He has to leverage on his resources.

It will be nice if he can get a glimpse of what is in the white paper.

Also if he can have access to Tengku Zafrul.

All this while he had been playing a subcontractor game.  I don't know if he is ready to play a prime in a new industry he is not familiar with.

Let me ask RR:

[3:21 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Bro, you got time?
[3:21 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: yes
[3:22 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: I wanted to discuss about an opportunity that I cannot handle
[3:22 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: opportunity?
[3:23 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Yes to train 600,000 unemployed online
[3:23 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Somebody asked if I am interested
[3:23 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: Wow!
[3:24 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: but I don't have the resources or the technology
[3:24 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: I need a Joe Rogan type of studio hahaha
[3:24 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: Technology is the least of the concern.
[3:24 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: Content?
[3:25 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: and the target demography/audience
[3:25 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: The person (your potential competitor) asked me to develop the entrepreneur portion
[3:26 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: that alone I calculated at RM50 per head is worth RM30 million
[3:27 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: nowadays you cant charge that much.
[3:27 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: For online?
[3:28 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: that's why we need to know the audience
[3:28 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: and who's the paymaster
[3:29 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: Basically we need to have a business model.
[3:29 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: OK, these are the people who lost their jobs to COVID-19.  Recently the brother of Tengku Zafrul MOF prepared a white paper and it was presented last week
[3:30 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: this is under Tengku Zafrul
[3:31 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: He is already in talking term with a prominent training company that setup their studio last month
[3:32 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Aku just looking for referral fee.  Due to my illness I cannot be involved in the project directly.
[3:32 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: then what's stopping them to proceed.
[3:33 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: This is a government project.  There must be bidding
[3:34 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: takkan single vendor kot
[3:36 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: So if you can access the white paper, and Tengku Zafrul, then you stand a chance
[3:38 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: Normally this kind of opportunity is already "wired".
[3:40 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: So you not even going to qualify the opportunity?
[3:42 PM, 5/13/2020] Rosli Rahim M: I'm afraid so.
[3:42 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: OK then...

At the same time I ask BJ:

[3:48 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: BJ, you interested to pursue an online training opportunity?
[3:52 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Aku dah tanya Rosli.  He is not interested.   He said the deal is already wired.
[3:55 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: It is to train 600,000 people who lost their job due to COVID-19 using online training.  A white paper was presented to Tengku Zafrul last week.  His brother prepared the paper.
[4:05 PM, 5/13/2020] Jamili New Num: Ok boleh
[4:08 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: You got to have access to the white paper and Tengku Zafrul.  As it is he is already in talking terms with a prominent training company.  This company had set up a studio last month
[4:09 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: I was offered the entrepreneur coaching but I turn down.  No resources and no technology
[4:10 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: Aku kira at RM50 per head we are talking about RM30 million for that portion alone
[4:12 PM, 5/13/2020] sharudinj: So for this opportunity I am just looking for referral fee.  Due to my shortcoming I cannot pursue the opportunity directly

In the end I am just ratting around.  It is up to those people to take it to the next level.  RR and BJ are IT System Developer.  They have no interest in training.

My best bet is still Wan Mus.

As for Perth Pal, I have no interest in collaborating with him.

Same with Glen.  Just a waste of time.

In the mean time I just try my luck.  Just like fishing.  My profession is as a farmer.  What I do is to make sure my orchard bear fruit in 10 years time.

I have no intention to become a full fledge fisherman.  At best I am an angler.  If I catch the fish it's fine but the real deal here is my orchard.  That orchard is going to last for 20 years when I am ready to pay IRD.
