20/6/20 ^^^I thing I just focus on developing and designing in-house courses

Pal,

I am happy that I can absorb all this information for free.  However to develop a course with worksheets and questionnaires is a different animal altogether.  To develop an online course is another extensive undertaking.

What I'll do now is to gather the information first.  That's part of my time investment.  Next I just focus on developing the content for corporate training.  Beyond that is not my competency.  I should not go beyond gathering material for training delivery.  I don't have the time and the patience to spend on developing worksheets and questionnaires.  That is perhaps your company's area of expertise.

I have concluded that I am a trainer.  My job is to deliver the content of my research.  Perhaps in the area I am lacking, your team can add value.

Even with the books, my strength is in writing.  I'm not prepared to come out with a workbook format.  You are good at what you do.  You don't expect me to be able to match your competency.  I don't mind doing research and developing contents.  I don't mind delivering either.  What I do mind is doing stuff that takes me out of my current skill set.

Regards,

Darling,

I just realized that there was a scope creep in my job.  So I am scaling down my assignments.

I like being a resource but I don't like doing things I don't enjoy like worksheets, questionnaires and tests.  So they have to figure that out.  I enjoy reading and writing.  Even delivering is no longer a passion for me.  But that's the only way I get compensated.  There is no retainer fee.  So all this R&D is purely my investment.

It's fun though...

Love you hon.

Sigh... Sorry for making you my muse. My regular jousting buddy, Doc Narayan, a veteran in Business Process Reengineering passed away last March. I don't have anybody else to Mental Joust baby. Here is your lullaby: youtube.com/watch?v=t1TcDH Love you much...
