>>>#11/4/20 Let's change the playing field

Let's not focus on stashing cash beyond what is necessary.  We know that is not the key to happiness.

OK fine, all I need is RM80 k

Beyond that I need a good house and a good car.  I take it what I have now will last me for 20 years.

Next, I need a good PC and a reliable handphone

I need to replace my running shoes occasionally.

I don't need an expensive lifestyle.  Not even going to the movies.  No more expensive perfumes.

I need the BU 2 Park.  I don't even need Lembah Kiara and Bukit Kiara.

I totally do away with vices.  Not even going to visit BJ.

What will be my core activities?

  • Blogging
  • Eating
  • Sleeping
  • Jogging
  • Kettlebell
  • Elliptical
  • Tennis
What is my marker for this year?
  • I'll run 10 km
  • I'll lose 20 kg
Note:  If I achieve this two goals, I am a champion.

What is Statue of David Project 2022?
  • I can do kettlebell
  • I can skip rope
  • I can exercise am/pm

What will be my marker when I reach 60 years old?
  • I'll buy a new PC
  • I'll buy a Samsung handphone
  • I'll run 21 km Hill
What will be my marker when I reach 65 years old?
  • I give Lizzie RM10 k
-------------------

Actually when I look at my life, I can be very happy without money.  All I need to do is be mentally and physically active.

I am so glad I downgraded my car.

I am glad I get rid of the bicycle

I am glad I get rid of the Seiko SNE 107

As for shirt, I just keep buying black v necks.  I just follow Mark Zuckerberg.

Remember, let the money grow.

Maybe if I want to indulge, I tailor made my shorts.

From now on I live a minimalist life.

Oh gosh, no more buying of books.

----------------------

Come to think of it, I just have enough money to buy the essentials.  I cannot splurge.  RM100 a month is the max.

Back to the basic.  Am I happy if I live in this manner?  I am outwardly poor but I am inwardly rich.  Anytime I feel I am not fulfilled, all I got to do is look at my watch collection.

Also look at how much time I have.  That alone is a sheer delight.

Don't forget that I even have a brand new pair of shoes I bought because it was a good bargain that I will only wear in 3 years time.

I am not poor, I am being frugal.
